Partial discharge measurement is not a one-size-fits-all product request. The asset type and test environment strongly affect the suitable equipment and accessories.

Useful RFQ inputs include transformer, cable, GIS, bushing, or capacitor type; voltage class; test standard; coupling method; site noise condition; and expected reporting format.

For tan delta or capacitance measurement, include insulation type, test voltage, and whether the work is routine maintenance, diagnostics, or factory testing.
